Questions about this product
Yes — we provide simple instructions to get you up and running, and many of our customers describe themselves as technophobes but have no issues. We're here to help if you get stuck.
Yes, it switches to infrared night vision automatically in low light — this doesn't disturb the birds, since it's outside the light spectrum they're sensitive to.
It varies by router and building materials, so there's no single number we can give you — the best test is to take your phone to the install location and check for a signal there.
Our Universal kit is designed to fit almost any bird box you already own. If you're starting from scratch, the built-in camera box is the simplest all-in-one option.

16 Jan 2026A very simple set-up
A very simple set-up, with clear instructions supplied, The picture to my phone is crystal clear. The length of the power cable is quite sufficient to pass through a wall and down to a mid height power socket.

24 Nov 2025Great little camera
Great little camera, easy to install. Waiting for the next freeholders to come in. One comment is that the instructions are only one sheet of paper and a link to all functions of what does what would be good idea. But very happy customer.

29 Jan 2025Nice budget camera
Easy to set up inside box for Robin. So far attracting visits and capturing good views of inquisitive Robins with the odd Blue Tit thrown in. Nice clear colour video during the day switching to black & white at night.

20 Jan 2025Good camera
This is the 4th one of these cameras I have purchased. They are a little larger than the normal nest box cameras but I use them in hedgehog houses so that doesn't worry me. I find them very easy to set up, the app is straight forward to use & the cameras give an excellent picture. I do recommend these cameras but just be aware of their size if your purchasing for a standard nest box.

17 Sept 2024Brilliant bird box camera.
I have 3 of these cameras and going to send for another. They are a little big for some of the bird boxes I have but the camera is easy to set up and gives good pictures. Great price and comes with sd card. Extension leads can be bought if needed one of the bluetits snuggles up in one of the boxes at night

24 Mar 2022Fantastic Camera!
So pleased with this camera which was a birthday present for my husband. Best price compared to others and very fast delivery. It was very easy to fit and setup, has great features, even comes with a SD card installed, very easy to use, and the picture is amazing. Set it up on both our tablets so now we just have to wait for the birds. Thanks Zopkins!

25 Oct 2021someone you can rely upon.
on advice I purchased a Wi-Fi Bird Box Camera Pro and I did declare that I was a novice and ham fisted. The support from Zopkins was unrivalled ( and I've had a lot of support) but the camera is now performing just as I'd hoped and I can wait till the Spring and start watching some activity. thanks to Tom regards David

4 Sept 2021Brilliant Camera
I must say that it is a brilliant camera and well worth the money I paid for it. I will shortly be erecting the birdbox outside on the wall all ready for next spring and fingers crossed a pair of Bluetits will take up residence. This camera is a great buy for all bird enthusiasts.
