BBCAM221PRO - 'Wrong Password' Error
The 'Wrong Password' message just means the password saved in the app doesn't match the one set in the camera. If you know the correct password, re-enter it against the 'admin' username in the camera's settings in the app. If you don't know it, you'll need to factory reset the camera, which resets the username and password back to the default of 'admin'.
How Does The Password Work?
- Your camera has a username and password stored in it to stop unauthorised access.
- The app uses the password every time it connects to the camera.
- The 'Wrong Password' message is shown when the password saved in the app doesn't match the password that has been set in the camera.
If You Know Your Password
Tap the camera in the app — a username and password box will be displayed, allowing you to change the password stored in the app. Make sure the username is set to 'admin' and then enter your password in the password box.
If it still says 'Wrong Password' then the password you entered is incorrect. You will need to reset the password as below.
If You Don't Know The Password
You will need to factory reset the camera. This will reset the username and password back to the default of 'admin'.
