Checking Your Camera's SIM Card Status and 4G Signal
Connect directly to your camera's WiFi access point, then load its web interface at 192.168.100.1 to see the SIM status and 4G signal level in the top right of the page.
If you're having trouble connecting to your camera via 4G, use the instructions below to check the status of the SIM card and the current 4G signal level.
To do this test you'll need to connect directly to the camera via its WiFi access point, which means being near the camera (within about 20m).
Step 1: Connect directly to the camera's WiFi
- Ensure the camera is powered up.
- Go to your WiFi settings and connect to the network that starts with the name "MiFi", using the password "1234567890".
- You may get a warning that internet is unavailable — this is normal. Tell your device you want to stay connected anyway.
Step 2: Load the web interface
Open the web browser on your device and go to 192.168.100.1. A page should load and ask for a password — enter "admin".
You'll then be logged into the status page. The top right shows the current SIM status and 4G connection signal level — we'd recommend aiming for 3 or more bars for a reliable connection.
